Harsom was founded by an entrepreneur who has called South Africa home for over 40 years. Having built and grown businesses across multiple industries over four decades, he developed a deep understanding of the South African market — its people, its needs and its extraordinary natural resources.
It was this long journey that led to a clear calling — to harness Africa’s remarkable botanical heritage and bring it into the world of cosmetics. Not as an outsider looking in, but as someone who has lived, worked and built here for a lifetime.

Three Areas, One Purpose
Harsom operates across three specialist areas — all built on the same foundation of African natural ingredients, rigorous formulation research and 40 years of business experience.
Formulation Research
We conduct in-house R&D to develop proprietary cosmetic formulations — drawing on African botanicals including Moringa, Castor Oil, Marula and Aloe Vera to create products that genuinely perform.
Container Printing
Using our screen printing expertise, we decorate cosmetic containers for brands across South Africa — delivering Pantone-accurate, consistent results on bottles, jars, tubes and more.
Cosmetics Filling
We manufacture and fill our own range of cosmetic products — perfumes, deodorants and hair care — all formulated in-house and produced at our Modderfontein facility.
